Robot Launch
Robot Launch is an easy to use Job Scheduler that allows you
to schedule processes WITHIN a software applications at any
preset date and time, especially out-of-business hours. Most schedulers start and close an application. But what if you need
to start the application, login as a particular User, enter a password, then start a process say 4
or 5 Menus deep into the application?
Robot Launch is capable of sending
keystrokes to the application to enable processes like data extracts, batch
processing, etc. Now add the Robot Launch's ability to update Date Input Fields
in your application with 'System Keywords' (consisting of plain English calls to
Date functions - like ‘Today’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Yesterday’, etc with 16 different
formats ranging from dd/mm/yy to yyyymmdd)) that dynamically recalculate each
Launch time of your application. 'Custom Keywords' like 'System Keyword' add
another powerful dimension to assisting you with running isolated processes
and/or scripts within your application.
Job Frequencies like daily, weekly, fortnightly,
monthly, quarterly,...make the "I forgot..." factor a thing of the past. Public
Holidays may be entered so that Robot Launch can calculate the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Business days of a calendar month where this frequency is used. Robot Launch
maintains a process history of all jobs - processed or yet to be processed.
